Cookie Policy

1. We use two cookies — both strictly necessary

MCR System does not run analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies set by this Service are the two below, and both are required for the Service to function — there is no cookie banner asking for your consent because there is nothing optional to opt into.

• Session cookie (Supabase): set when you log in, so the Service knows who you are on each request. Without it you would be signed out immediately. It is cleared when you log out or when it expires.
• Bot-check cookie (Cloudflare Turnstile): set when the anti-bot widget loads on login, signup, the client portal, or the "Chat with Sophia" support form. It lets Cloudflare tell a human apart from an automated script without a puzzle to solve. It is set and managed by Cloudflare, not by us directly — see Cloudflare's cookie policy for how they describe it.

2. What we don't use

No Google Analytics, no Facebook/Meta Pixel, no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no third-party marketing trackers of any kind. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and a consent mechanism will be added before any non-essential cookie is set.

3. Not a cookie: local storage

The accessibility widget (text size, high contrast, and similar display preferences) saves your choices using your browser's localStorage, not a cookie. It stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, and you can clear it at any time through your browser's site data settings.

4. Managing cookies

Because our session and bot-check cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from logging in or submitting public forms protected by the bot check. You can still clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings — this policy doesn't change how your browser works, it only explains what we set when you don't.

5. Changes

We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. Significant changes will be communicated by email or a notice within the Service.
